A Showcase of new objects from a selected group of exciting independent designers on the theme of food presentation, preparation and consumption. All objects on display have been developed for this Clerkenwell Design Week product launch.
As our homes become ever more important to us as places to socialise so does the ritual of eating. Food, and the objects that support its preparation and consumption, have inspired all the objects in this exhibition of selected independent designers. All exhitbitors have been chosen for the beauty of their designs and their unique approaches to materials.

For the promotion of design-led skills
make:space is a social enterprise set up by Jo Davies and Haidee Drew, aimed at selected designers who show a demonstrable ability to make.
It seeks to partner designers in collaborative exchanges that will nurture the creativity of conversation, development, encourage new discoveries and the forming of dynamic allegiances that will outlive the exhibitions they are asked to be involved in.
Make: undertook its inaugural exhibtion in April 2011 at KM STudios in Shoreditch, London.
