HandWerk
is a concept founded by Jo Davies as a vehicle for the presentation of design
and craft ideas. In its first incarnation it will be a showcase for a selected
group of makers.
All exhibitors have been chosen for their imaginative and technical ability.
Many of the exhibitors take function as a starting point and then subvert
it to create objects that are about domestic beauty rather than domestic
utility.
HandWerk will be showing at Tent London in the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane during the Design Festival, 18-21 September 2008. Content hall, Stand D21.
