Wheel-Throwing Porcelain Components and Hollow Forms Workshop

21-22 April 2018

Sat 10-5  Sun 10-3:30

This weekend workshop will teach you to wheel-throw porcelain components and hollow forms to make vessels.
Based on Jo's practice of working with wheel-thrown porcelain components and hollow forms to create unusual vessels, this workshop will use these techniques to guide you on how to create forms in this style as well as encourage you to evolve your creativity using the wheel as both a tool to make sculptural and functional shapes. A great workshop for people with some experience in wheel-throwing to intermediate level and above.

Jo Davies teaches all the classes at the studio so will be on hand in this small class to help you through. She is a highly experienced tutor who has taught at all levels - using the expertise gained in her professional practice she is able to give you an insight into the process as well as an insight into her own methods of working.

All classes have a maximum of 4 students

£370 per student
