Choker Vases are a popular item in the Jo Davies Range. Like all our work, these contemporary ceramic vases have been handmade here at the studio, finely constructed from three pieces of wheel-thrown porcelain to create a deceptively simple shape.

The internal and external profiles differ to create an internal neck, a ‘choker’, designed to grip loose floral displays that would otherwise be unwieldy, whilst also making flowers look like they are tumbling effortlessly over the open rim.  

Both geometric and subtly organic, it is a carefully designed modern porcelain vase, available finished with a satin, white, crackle glaze, or satin-matt black manganese glaze

Items are securely packaged for transit but, in the rare event of a breakage, the item will be replaced. In this event customers need to notify the studio with images of breakage within 24 hours of arrival to secure replacement item.
