This vessel is part of Jo Davies’ Unique Objects range and there is only one.

This is a porcelain lidded container with a gently undulating edge to its lid in order to provide touch-points where the lid is lifted. Every aspect of this piece is made from wheel-thrown porcelain, including the relief surface pattern that appear to ‘lift’ the lid above it.

As with all items in the entire range, this piece was hand-thrown on the wheel by Jo Davies and glazed with tactile, satin-matt stoneware crackle glaze in white.
