Gilded Speak Vase in Black
Satin black handmade porcelain vase, decorated with 24-carat gold leaf gilding. Each piece is unique and hand-thrown on the wheel by Jo Davies. The Speak Vases have individual characters that invite us to respond: they ‘speak’.
The smooth round body and exaggerated twist of the flute neck work with the glaze and gilded element, to be perfect for displaying flowers or unadorned as a piece of art.
This contemporary ceramic vase is made from wheel-thrown porcelain and gilded with 24ct goldleaf.
Finished with tactile, black manganese glaze.

Care Instructions:
Hand wash only using soft cloths. Please do not use abrasive chemicals on this surface. Gilded items can be used carefully but the 24ct goldleaf surface is delicate. The gilded element of their surface has been stabilised and protected by shellac but care should be taken in its use.

Items are securely packaged for transit but, in the rare event of a breakage, the item will be replaced. In this event customers need to notify the studio with images of breakage within 24 hours of arrival to secure replacement item.
