Small handmade gilded porcelain bowls in black or white, with a gentle flare at the rim and 24-carat gold decoration to the interior. Originally designed as opulent salt and pepper pinchers for the table. Away from the dining room, they serve as a stylish ceramic ring dish or small tray for keepsakes and jewellery.

Finch Bowls are named after the finches of the Galapagos Islands, where the birds are famously varied yet closely related to each other. These pots, which nestle pleasingly in the hand, are made to the same design but each is intentionally unique.

Each bowl is made individually from wheel-thrown porcelain, weighted for stability and gilded with 24-carat gold leaf. The satin-finish, fired to stoneware kiln temperatures, gives these tiny yet solid bowls a marble-like feel. Highly tactile and pleasing to the touch, these bowls are enjoyable to use and bring a touch of luxury to your table setting.

Available in white crackle glaze or deep black manganese glaze and finished with 24-carat gold leaf on the inside of the rim.

Items are securely packaged for transit but, in the rare event of a breakage, the item will be replaced. In this event customers need to notify the studio with images of breakage within 24 hours of arrival to secure replacement item.
